Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Hybrid

Aspire Psychology is a thriving multidisciplinary private practice in downtown Portland, Oregon, offering both therapy and medication management services. We are excited to consider Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for full-time, hybrid positions, and we are pleased to offer a relocation allowance for out of state hires!

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care to adult patients with mild to moderate mental health conditions (with the option to treat adolescent patients ages 14+)

  • Complete comprehensive psychiatric intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment plans

  • Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management in accordance with professional standards and individual treatment plans

  • Provide in-person care when medically necessary or clinically appropriate for a patient's treatment

  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality requirements, applicable federal, state, and local laws, licensing requirements, and professional codes of ethics

  • Maintain professional conduct in accordance with the mission and values of Aspire Psychology

  • Participate in Aspire’s required community engagement and referral-development efforts, including partner meetings, educational presentations, and professional networking

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed prescriber, with 2+ years preferred 

  • Active prescribing experience within the past two years required

  • Recent practice experience in Oregon strongly preferred

  • Active Oregon professional license or eligibility for Oregon licensure required

  • Obtain professional liability insurance prior to start date and maintain throughout employment

  • Must pass a background check as a condition of employment (conducted after a conditional offer, per Oregon law)

  • Able to work onsite at Aspire’s downtown Portland office a minimum of 1 day per month up to 1 day per week, with additional in-office time as needed based on clinical need

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $140,000 - $150,000 per year (based on years of prescribing experience) for meeting a minimum caseload of 26 patient sessions per week

  • Quarterly production bonuses available for prescribers averaging 27 or more patient sessions per week, with total cash compensation potential up to $177,000 per year
