As part of our group practice, you’ll collaborate with a thoughtful and experienced team of therapists and psychiatric providers, including participation in weekly case consultation. Learn more about our team and values at www.aspirepsychologyportland.com.
Values & Culture
Aspire Psychology’s clinicians are trained in and inspired by evidence-based practices that integrate cognitive, behavioral, relational, humanistic, and somatic approaches. We work closely with our patients to understand what is and is not working in their lives, foster hope and confidence, and support them in defining their authentic selves, goals, and paths toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Founded by Dr. Jami Howell, Aspire Psychology was created to provide an exceptional fit for both patients and providers. With a background serving the community in individual private practice, Dr. Howell set out to build a group practice to meet the needs of more people in the community seeking help and support. Dr. Howell brings deep roots in the Portland community, having been raised locally and completed all of her training in the area. This foundation has helped Aspire build a strong referral network, meaningful community partnerships, and a reputation for high-quality, coordinated care.
Central to Aspire’s culture is a commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and individuality. We strive to create an environment where both patients and employees feel safe, respected, and supported in being fully themselves. These values guide how we care for clients and how we build our team.
Our office space reflects this philosophy—comfortable, modern, and welcoming, with beautiful views from every office and shared community spaces where team members can relax and connect.
Dr. Howell understands the importance of work–life balance and offers flexibility in scheduling, remote and in-office work, and time off. Aspire’s dedicated support staff and user-friendly electronic systems handle administrative tasks efficiently, allowing clinicians to focus on the work they love most: caring for clients.
We also deeply value meaningful relationships at work and we are a close-knit, collaborative team who enjoy connecting through regular team-building activities and social events outside of work. Aspire team members thrive in an environment that is beautiful and relaxing, and we can’t wait to add to our strong, unified team, and hope you’ll become a part of it.
